Bi-annual partner meeting in Wageningen

The partners of the TRANSFORM project gathered in Wageningen for their bi-annual meeting, an important moment to review progress, strengthen collaboration, and align the next steps of the project.

Two days of insightful discussions and collective progress

The programme included a diverse range of activities designed to move the project forward:

Collaborative workshops on climate-resilient rotations and regional roadmaps

Presentations on scientific progress, modelling approaches, and new decision-support tool

Breakout sessions focusing on communication, stakeholder engagement, and upcoming deliverables

Constructive discussions on the challenges and opportunities linked to agroecological transition in Europe

These exchanges reinforced the consortium’s shared ambition: developing practical, innovative and region-specific solutions to help European agriculture become more resilient.

These two days of exchange reinforced the partners’ commitment to building more resilient and sustainable cropping systems across Europe.

Highlights from the meeting

Across the two days, several key moments stood out, including:

– Progress on the Future Rotations Explorer, soon to be tested in pilot regions

– First insights from field data collection across the eight demonstration and replication areas

– Development of regional adaptation roadmaps involving farmers and local stakeholders

– Strengthened collaboration between scientific teams, communication experts and local partners

The meeting also allowed partners to align work plans for the coming months and to identify areas where cross-country cooperation will be particularly valuable.

A warm thank you

The TRANSFORM team extends its sincere thanks to all participants for their engagement and constructive contributions. Special thanks to Wageningen University for hosting the consortium and for their excellent organisation throughout the two days.

The next consortium meeting will take place later this year, with new field updates, tool demonstrations and shared insights from the regions.
